We are David & Nikita, welcome to Bayton Harvey Ministries

When we first began to share with each other the things we believed God showed us for the future, it became clear that there were many similarities in the visions planted in our hearts. As we prepared for marriage and even afterward, the specifics began to unfold. Here, we share a brief picture of our vision:
Owning land with property, outbuildings or barns that we could convert into guest houses as a means of income, a workshop for DIY and imparting skills, a small holding for chickens and sheep, a vegetable garden and orchard, and a lake or river for fishing and boat trips. Enough land to build a conference room that can also be sectioned off for classrooms. We see this building having two extra bedrooms, along with a communal kitchen and living room that can accommodate guest speakers.
Almost every time we have shared this, we see nods and yes's from those who share similar visions! With God all things are possible.
Our goal is to steward a place called ‘New Rivers,’ (a name the Lord gave David in 2017), where God’s presence can come for teaching, healing, and restoration.
Through Bayton Harvey Ministries, we believe we are called to teach and disciple people in the Word of God, especially focusing on discipleship for the new or young in the Lord who need the building blocks or the ‘milk of the word’ to nourish and strengthen them for a fruitful life in God. We see people coming into God’s rest, relying on Him more than ever, in a beautiful natural setting that promotes learning, practical tasks and possibly even employment, all while deepening their relationship with God our Father and enabling them in their Kingdom purpose.

Every vision begins with the first step. We have learned that daily life is not separate from the vision; it is all part of it. To start, God gave us a one-bedroom apartment of 36m2 / 387ft2. This space included a living room, kitchen, pantry, bathroom, bedroom, a garden, and driveway. Some of our friends in USA & other places can hardly comprehend the size of this space!
We had planned to have an extra bedroom so we could host guests or help someone in need. However, God had a different plan. He closed every other door we tried to open in our search for a place to live, yet this apartment was a wide-open door. We stood in the empty little kitchen with our agent, also a believer, sharing what God was doing with us and we all cried.
We knew we were where we were supposed to be even if we weren’t thrilled by the size of it. Later, we learned that God had given us this special time for just the two of us to settle in and get to know each other as we were married just five weeks after the Lord brought us together. This little apartment became a significant place for us. During that time, the Holy Spirit was moving wonderfully among the people around us, and we had baptisms nearly every week. There had been years of prayers and preparation for this move of God, and it was a privilege to witness His work to call, deliver, heal, and restore His children. Nikita taught from the scriptures weekly and met with individuals for ministry. The Lord broke many chains off people, and they began to come alive in Christ. God provided the right people at the right time to host and partner in this work. Once we were married, David occasionally joined in leading the group. We also began to share a short daily message from our everyday walk with the Lord with our group each morning. Soon others heard about it and wanted to receive it, leading to the message going out to many other people in different countries. Through all this, the Lord was teaching us to be good stewards of what He placed in our hands, being faithful with the little. There were also challenges and looking back we can see the Lord's faithfulness through it all.
Once we fell in love with our tiny apartment and felt comfortable, it was time to move on!
We moved to Germany and lived with a family of 6 in their basement. We were thankful to have this space made available for us and grateful for the practical help they gave us to help us settle into a whole new culture and country. We moved to Germany and lived with a family of 6 in their basement. We were thankful to have this space made available for us and grateful for the practical help they gave us to help us settle into a whole new culture and country. Before we married, David lived on a high street in a busy town center, with passing buses and trucks making his windows rattle. He dreamed of living in the countryside. Our little apartment was a dream come true for David as it provided a beautiful view of 10 poplar trees across the field from our bedroom window—a view he never tired of. From the basement in Germany, David had about a six-inch triangle of sky to look at and after a few months he wondered what on earth we were doing there. Nikita's thought was, God takes us from glory to glory. And David went, hmmm.
We began a season of learning, and our biggest lesson was about our pride and the harm it causes, especially how God hates it and why. The ministry we were a part of in Germany carried a deep revelation of the pride of the heart as well as the riches of Christ in us. We received much-needed teaching and healing, transforming us in many ways. After seven months of looking at apartments and facing repeated rejections, a door suddenly opened for us — on our doorstep!
We had been involved in the renovations of this particular property. One night while painting (in the very apartment we later moved into), we paused to admire a beautiful sunset and thought, whoever lives here will really enjoy this view. Much to our surprise, God had been preparing our place for us through us. We moved into a spacious 90m2/968ft2 apartment, which was an answer to our prayers.
Everything we had asked God for was found in our new home.
In this time, David saw God's hand changing long-standing negative and selfish ways in his workplaces.
Nikita continued to disciple from our apartment, using the Bible and books from Greg Violi. We were also invited to be part of the elders-in-training, an invaluable training where we witnessed firsthand what it looks like to lead by depending on God and putting the Kingdom first. We also traveled to the USA and UK, sharing what we were learning. Following our visit to the USA, Nikita began online discipleship with ladies who were eager for a deeper relationship with God. David joined from time to time, giving a father's blessing when needed.
In this apartment, God allowed us to have a guest room, which was almost always in use. We often hosted people, providing accommodation, food, and transport for the regular conferences held. God taught us that everything we have been given is for a Kingdom purpose, leading us to a whole new level of faithfulness with the little things.

After 4 years, we moved back to the U.K. We had many needs, one of which included a place to live. A dear couple opened their home to us, which we used as a base to begin our new season. We were told by one estate agent (realtor) that we would not be able to rent anywhere until we had lived in the U.K. again for 12 months.

We were told by one estate agent (realtor) that we would not be able to rent anywhere until we had lived in the U.K. again for 12 months.
However, God’s plan was different and He opened a door for us to rent a cottage of 98m2 / 1055ft2 in the countryside within three weeks, solely due to His favor. Everything we asked God for, we found in our new home.
From here, we continued to disciple ladies in the USA and also began to meet weekly with a young man who was new to the Kingdom. We enjoyed our times together, and God gave us a special bond with each other as we shared meals and the Word.
Bayton Harvey Ministries began to be formed in our hearts in the latter part of 2025. In August 2025, we started and finished our first ever book, doing both the writing and illustration. This small book, created for young people, is called LOOKING TO GOD, God's Word for Us in Everyday Life.
In September 2025, we completed a three-week, three-state tour in the USA. We had two conferences, one in LA and one in upstate NY. The Lord came with a wonderful Presence in LA, and even though we both felt a weakness, we looked to God, and He came, making it a fruitful time.
And, our first printing of LOOKING TO GOD sold out!

God’s ways are so different from ours. We often think, OK God, thanks for the vision, bring it in Jesus' name, amen. However, in His wisdom, God refines us in order to enable us in our purpose.

He calls us to steward well what He entrusts us with, day by day. We had no idea we would be writing and illustrating a book for young people in 2025. As we travelled, we were asked if we had more books, and we feel led to keep writing and developing resources for discipleship within the body of Christ, so we can be made fit to release the Kingdom of God on earth. This is just the beginning of Bayton Harvey Ministries, where the Lord stands at the helm of the ship as Captain, knowing exactly where we are heading. This truth has sustained us through many troubled waters. We are thankful to see our Father take us from glory to glory as we remain faithful with what He places in our hands. We are looking to Him to finish what He started. We believe we are on our way to ‘New Rivers’, the vision He has given us for our broader Kingdom purpose. To Him be the glory. Watch this space...
